Job summary

YEO GEOK CHIN LIGHTERAGE SERVICE in Singapore is seeking a diligent logistics/operations assistant to support daily vessel operations, document control and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate shipments, liaise with customers, suppliers, vessel crews and government authorities.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or any other equivalent.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication skills and able to work independently.
• Passion for customer service and a good team player.
• Background in a similar or related role strongly preferred.
• Singaporean/ PR/ Malaysian are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Maintain government licenses and statutory certifications.
• Coordinate daily vessel operations and shipment schedules.
• Monitor cargo movements and delivery arrangements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, vessel crews and government authorities.
• Prepare and verify cargo permits, boat vouchers and shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with MPA, Customs and other regulatory requirements.
• Supervise operational staff where required.
• Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by the Employer.
