Job summary

MEDUSA SHIPPING PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable coordinator to liaise with clients on Singapore regulations and to manage vessel port operations.

The role involves coordinating arrival/departure formalities, document delivery, and services to vessels, ensuring smooth compliance and timely updates across port activities. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree, and be prepared to take independent responsibility while mentoring a team and coordinating with shipowners/charterers and

• Strong understanding of processes in dealing with ICA/PSA/MPA/Shipyards and other statutory authorities.
• Ability and willingness to take on independent responsibility.
• Service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and advise clients on Singapore rules and regulations for smooth operations
• Coordinate and handle vessel's arrival and departure formalities: statutory formalities and terminal formalities
• Arrange and coordinate services to vessels such as delivery of documents, stores, and spares to vessels
• Arrange and coordinate land and sea transportation for crews and personnel to and from vessels
• Conveying instructions to and from ship owners/charterers
• Timely Monitor and update on vessels' port activities
• Arrange and coordinate other port operations and services.
• Liaise with suppliers, ship chandlers, bunker, and technical services to vessels.
• Prepare PDA and finalize FDA with the Accounts department.
• Take the role of Mentor/Team leader to lead a team.
