Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Executive to process shipping documentation and billing for clients in the Supply Chain / Freight department. The role involves coordinating documentation with Port Authority, Customs, and TradeNet, ensuring timely invoicing and closing of job files.

Ideal candidates will have a degree or diploma in logistics or related field and at least 2 years of shipping documentation experience.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping documentation in a freight forwarding company.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
• Experience in TradeNet is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Manage shipping documentation formalities for Port Authority / Customs / Tradenet / Portnet.
• Ensure proper and timely billing / closing for all job files, issuance of credit notes, internal expenses report by end of each month.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and related activities.
• Manage job file creation, costing and data entries in 56Cargo System.
• Arrange bookings with carriers / co-loaders and execute shipping documents such as bill of lading and related certificates.
• Send pre-alerts and shipping advice timely to customers and agents.
• Coordinate dispatch of shipping documents to customers and agents.
• Assist with rate sourcing with various carriers.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

About the role

The Customer Service Executive will be responsible to process shipping documentation and billing to customers in the Supply Chain / Freight department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage shipping documentation formalities in regard to Port Authority / Customs / Tradenet / Portnet
• Ensure proper and timely billing / closing for all job files, issuance of credit notes, internal expenses report by end of each month
• Coordinates day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and other related activity.
• Manage job file creation, costing and other data entries in 56Cargo System
• Arrange bookings with carriers / co-loaders and execute all pertinent shipping documents, e.g. shipping order, trucking instruction, shipping certificate, subsidiary certificate, bill of lading, forwarder cargo receipt, export subsidiary certificate, etc.
• Send pre-alerts and shipping advice timely to customers and agent
• Coordinates dispatch of shipping documents to customers and agent.
• Assist for rate sourcing with various carriers.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping documentation in a freight forwarding company
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners
• Experience in TradeNet is an advantage
