Job summary

REC in Singapore seeks an experienced quality/engineering professional to manage field claims and drive resolution through root-cause analysis and containment. You will work with regional Technical Product Managers on failure analysis, site visits, and preparation of technical reports.

Responsibilities include handling customer visits, factory audits, and building a knowledge base on product degradation, plus designing tests to detect infant mortality and mid-life failures. Travel required.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering; advanced degrees welcome to apply.
• Experience with quality tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, CAPA, DMAIC.
• Proficiency in SAP; knowledge of Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing principles a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process field claims promptly for resolution.
• Drive claim resolution through root cause analysis, containment, corrective action, and quality controls improvements.
• Collaborate with regional Technical Product Managers for failure analysis and site visits.
• Provide engineering insights including failure analyses and technical reports.
• Handle customer visits and factory audits and product inspection.
• Develop & contribute to building knowledge base of degradation from product to material level.
• Design tests to detect infant mortality and mid-life product failures.
