Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking a Credit Documentation Executive to support end-to-end documentation for corporate and commercial lending facilities. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit teams, legal counsel and external stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.

The role demands attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Good degree required.
• Experience in corporate banking documentation.
• Strong risk and control awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepares LO letters for Business Units and attends to BU queries promptly.
• Reviews standard forms, documents by external lawyers, and BU materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Liaises with BU, insurers, external lawyers, etc., to ensure timely loan documentation.
• Ensures approval conditions and covenants adhere to terms before issuing compliance certification.
• Maintains expiry dates and alerts in the documentation system.
• Authorises loan limits after compliance certification.
• Monitors outstanding documentation and related compliance reports.
• Performs document withdrawals after redemption or discharge of securities.
• Attends ad-hoc calls with lawyers and units; supports process improvement projects.
• Prepares internal reports for management purposes.
• Facilitates redemption of loans and discharge of securities.
• Contributes to unit process improvements.
