Job summary

IMMORTAL SANCTUARY PTE. LTD. seeks a dedicated kitchen helper to assist in preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals while upholding strict hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities include supporting the Chef de Partie, inspecting sanitation, maintaining high quality, following Head/Sous Chef recipes, and ensuring food safety and waste management. This full-time role is based at our Singapore location.

Responsibilities

• Assist and receive instruction from Chef de Partie to run the station.
• Inspect preparation and serving areas to ensure safe, sanitary food handling.
• Maintain high quality of preparation and manage waste.
• Season and cook food per Head/Sous Chef recipes.
• Observe and test if foods are cooked sufficiently by tasting, smelling, or piercing.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients per recipes using kitchen tools.
• Portion, arrange, garnish, and serve; ensure consistent quality.
• Keep chillers organized and orderly.

Job description

The primary role is to ensure the preparation, cooking, presentation of meals and maintain hygiene standard in the kitchen.

Job Responsibilities

• - To assist and receive instruction from Chef de Partie in running the station in the kitchen
• - Inspect food preparation and serving area to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food handling practices
• - To produce the highest quality of Preparation and managing waste
• - Season and cook food according to recipes of the Head Chef/ Sous Chef
• - Observe and test food to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling or piercing them with utensils
• - Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgement, using various kitchen utensils and equipment
• - Portion, arrange and garnish food and serve to guest. Ensure that food produced is consistently of high quality
• - Ensure chillers are organised in an effective and efficient way
