Job summary

Aon PLC is looking for a Consultant, Client Services in Health Solutions based in Singapore. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and coordinating with insurers to tailor employee benefits programs.

You will engage in renewals, analysis, and client education to ensure optimal benefit solutions. You will lead client discussions, collaborate across departments, and stay updated on market developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong client relationships and understand clients' needs on employee benefits and placement with insurer/program.
• Upsell/cross-sell suitable products based on clients' HR, risk and finance needs.
• Stay current on insurance market developments.
• Conduct pre-renewal and renewal meetings with clients.
• Review renewal terms and analyze claims data to ensure competitive terms.
• Prepare renewal documents such as proposals, claims analyses, benchmarking decks and handbooks.
• Communicate benefits programs to employees and partners as needed.
• Handle enquiries from HR and employees.
• Follow up on employee movements and underwriting requirements for accounts.
• Ensure prompt premium payments from assigned accounts.

What the day will look like

• Develop strong client relationship and understand the needs of clients on employee benefits and ensure placement with clients’ selected insurer/program
• Understand and stay current on each client’s business situation, strategy and HR, risk and finance needs and upsell/cross-sell product that are suitable for their needs
• Stay abreast with the insurance markets development
• Conduct Pre-renewal and/or renewals meetings with clients
• Ensure renewal terms obtained are far and competitive by reviewing renewal terms and analysis of claims data
• Preparation of renewal documents such as renewal proposal, claim analysis, benchmarking exercise, communication decks, handbooks
• Conduct communication sessions on the benefits program to employees as well as to any partners who need to understand the program
• Handling of enquiries from both HR and employees
• Be responsible for any follow up on the employee movement and underwriting requirements for the accounts assigned
• Ensure prompt premium payment from accounts that are assigned

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI. CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS
• 2 to 5 years in the related experience
• Leadership skills required to manage teams
• Analytical, critical thinking and decision making
• Effective collaboration across departments and organization
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
