Job summary

Aon plc is seeking a Senior Client Associate for Commercial Risk in Singapore. The role involves renewal support, data consolidation, and client service administration across local and overseas offices.

You will prepare underwriting information, assist in policy documentation, and support financial processes while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and accuracy.

Senior Client Associate – Commercial Risk

What the day will look like

Renewal support

• Consolidate renewal values, claims and other data from clients and local Aon offices
• Compile underwriting information pack
• Prepare draft quotation slips
• Compile comparison of renewal quotes from insurers
• Convert quotation slip to placement slip to coverage summary
• Follow up with insurers on placement slips
• Work with overseas Aon offices/Third Party Brokers on issuance of local admitted policies
• Create client insurance and claims manual
• Prepare premium allocation for client servicer's review
• Project insurance (CAR/EAR) period tracking

Client service support

• Consolidate data for stewardship reports
• Receive, verify and communicate client's declarations (e.g.. vehicles, cargo) to insurers
• Prepare policies summaries
• Perform claims analytics
• Update Contract Review or Certificate Tracking Registers
• Upload documents/policy information into clients' web portals
• Manage updating of client data for Aon WorkComp
• Tracking of Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) / Broker Service Agreements.
• Submit Bridger Screening requests
• Coordinate client meetings
• Arrange corporate gifts for clients
• Liaise with overseas Aon offices/third party brokers on client account reporting requirements and document requests.

Client insurance documents (Policies, Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Endorsements etc.)

• Liaise with insurers and Aon offices on timely issuance of various insurance documents
• Check accuracy of insurance documents (minimize Errors & Omissions)
• Generate Cover Letters to clients, Confirmation of Cover, Debit Notes and Certified True Copies of insurance documents
• Issue Cover Notes
• Coordinate and monitor signing of Notice of Assignments by insurers and submission to the client as and when necessary

Systems utilization - including (but not limited) to:

• AonLine
• Global Account Management System (GAMS)
• Riskminder
• Aon Connect
• InFlow
• Document Management Interface (DMI) system
• Client Capture
• Qlikview etc

General document management

• Assist in process compliance by ensuring essential documents are being delivered to clients (e.g. TOBA, Renewal Questionnaire)
• Filing and archiving of files
• Photocopy/scan documents, binding to create reports
• Arrange dispatch of documents to clients and insurers

Support financial performance

• Raise Client Requests, Billing Requests (including pre-billing to manage Premium Payment Warranty), Revenue Sharing Forms (in GAMS)
• Create invoice in Coupa and Ariba system
• Print Statement of Accounts / verify on invoice/fee issues
• Track and follow up with clients and Aon offices on premium and fee payments
• Monitor and minimize Account Receivables
• Gather premium receipts from insurers
• Generate cheque requisitions
• Where requested by clients, coordinate issuance of Official Receipts from Aon Finance and send to clients

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma
• General Insurance academic qualifications, ACII would be advantageous
• At least 4 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 2 of which in the Singapore insurance industry
• Independent, proactive, efficient
• Meticulous and able to multi-task
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Pleasant and positive personality, adaptable to changes
• Possess good analytical mind with strong business acumen
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A strong team player
