Job summary

SWP Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead a designated construction project in Singapore. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with clients, architects, and consultants, and ensure projects meet budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

The role demands strong managerial skills, effective communication in English and Chinese, and a track record of resolving technical and contractual issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building, Civil, Structural Engineering or related construction subject.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, at least 3 years in a managerial role in construction.
• Strong management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• English & Chinese communication ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the assigned project in accordance with company policy.
• Monitor the performance of the projects, subcontractors and resolve daily problems during and after the course of projects.
• Communicate, implement, and monitor company policy to the project team for effective implementation.
• Identify potential construction problems, instigate preventive measures, standardization and innovate technique in related to selective construction process.
• Review, advise and resolve on contractual, technical matters and comment on sub-contracts related to the projects.
• Chair internal project reviews meeting with project team and report on the performance for director's information.
• Establish, develop, monitor and maintain project budget, programme, resources allocation, quality plan, environmental issues, and safety plan in accordance with company's requirement.
• Liaison with Client, Architect and consultants for performance and coordination of the project.
