Job summary

crec construction pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in construction to oversee day-to-day project activities, coordinate with contractors and agencies, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The role requires extensive experience in construction management, strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin. The candidate will participate in partnering sessions and review contractor requests to support project timelines.

Qualifications

• Certificate from BCA is required.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• At least 8 years in construction management or related experience.
• Able to collaborate with internal and external resources.
• Self-directed and team-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Microsoft Office tools; some knowledge of project management software.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

1. Provide detailed constructability reviews of project documents.
2. Manage day-to-day work on projects in construction phases; coordinate and make recommendations regarding status of work.
3. Attend and actively participate in partnering sessions with contractors, agencies, and organizations to obtain feedback on company performance and effectiveness; represent the company needs.
4. Represent the company in reviewing contractor requests through formal or informal processes, and provide prompt responses to keep projects on schedule.
5. Review and monitor project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
6. Review and provide recommendations on potential Change Orders on projects and process per contractual requirements, providing detailed analysis of impacts to the company budget and schedule.
7. Regularly review project schedules, analyze and monitor construction progress to determine impacts to schedule and provide feedback.

Requirements

1. The related certificates from BCA. Can work in shifts and at weekends and public holidays.
2. at least 8 years in construction management or related experience in construction projects.
