Job summary

TLE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Accounts Assistant to handle day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting for projects. The role supports project cost monitoring and compliance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting, at least 2 years of accounting experience (construction/project management preferred), and proficiency in Xero. Knowledge of Singapore tax rules is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project management industry.
• Knowledge of progress billing, retention, work in progress and project costing will be advantageous.
• Proficient in accounting software Xero.
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• General Accounting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records per company policies; collaborate with outsourced accounting team for journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Verify supplier invoices/POs/ delivery orders; process payments per terms; prepare payment request forms.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Prepare customer invoices and follow up on payments; monitor aging reports for timely collection.
• Audit, Taxation & Compliance: Support annual audit, tax submissions, and government reporting (GST, CPF, IRAS); ensure internal controls compliance.
• Administrative Support: Maintain filing and documentation; assist management or finance with ad-hoc duties.
