Job summary

SM Systems Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager to own the group accounts and provide management with clear insight into cash, budgets and project profitability. You will report directly to the Director.

This role covers full-set accounting across group entities, month-end closing, management accounts, project P&L, GST filing, payroll, invoicing and cash reconciliations. Prior SME experience and construction accounting are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on full-set accounting, including month-end closing and GST.
• Singapore payroll and CPF experience.
• Comfortable working independently in an SME.
• Construction or contractor accounting experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Full-set accounts for all group entities.
• Month-end closing, management accounts and a monthly financial health report.
• Project P&L and cashflow for the monthly WIP review.
• Quarterly GST filing; support year-end audit and tax.
• Monthly payroll, attendance, CPF and e-claims.
• Client invoicing, progress claims and collections.
• Verify and post AP, prepare payments and bank reconciliations.
• Insurance renewals and grant tracking.
