Job summary

A Senior BMS Computer Technician at AUTO CONTROLS ENGINEERING PTE. LTD.

will contribute to installing, programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing Building Management System solutions to enhance building operations and energy efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with engineers and project teams, configuration and commissioning of BMS controllers and field devices, and development of PLC control logic.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in BMS / Building Automation Systems
• Proven experience with BMS platforms (Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and energy management
• Knowledge of BMS communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus)
• PLC programming and controller configuration experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for drawings and documentation
• Good communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in BMS commissioning and site coordination preferred
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, controllers) preferred
• Experience integrating third-party systems (VFDs, energy meters, chillers) preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure optimal performance of building automation systems
• Install, configure, program, and commission BMS controllers and field devices
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve operational issues related to BMS, HVAC controls, and networks
• Monitor system performance and support optimization and energy efficiency initiatives
• Support system upgrades, expansions, and retrofit projects
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and project teams
• Prepare and maintain accurate system documentation and as-built records
• Develop and update control schematics, network diagrams, and system drawings using AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio
• Develop, test, and modify control logic using PLC programming

We are seeking an experienced Senior BMS Computer Technician to join our Building Management System (BMS) team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of BMS solutions, working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure reliable building operations and improved energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
