Qualifications

• Engineering degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building environment project/service operations or engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage application/program for multiple projects with engineering and installation teams to meet annual goals.
• Design and develop software solutions for Building Management Systems including chiller systems, HVAC, security, and fire alarm integration.
• Prepare P&ID diagrams for chiller systems and BMS for accurate documentation.
• Write, debug, and test programs to control and integrate with BMS.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather and clarify BMS requirements and specifications.
• Develop manuals for BMS systems including code, logic diagrams, and configurations.
• Manage and develop project application, engineering, and installation professionals to enhance team performance.
• Implement programs to ensure efficient departmental operations.
• Evaluate departmental performance and apply corrective actions to improve results.
• Apply knowledge of Honeywell or Siemens BMS (CPO/EBI/Desigo CC) to optimize functionality.
• Utilize Niagara 4 and cloud computing to support BMS solutions.

Job Summary

Lead and manage projects application to design, develop, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and related automation solutions, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage application/ program for multiple projects, engineering, and installation teams to achieve annual financial and operational goals
• Design and develop software solutions for Building Management Systems including chiller systems, HVAC, security, and fire alarm integration
• Prepare P&ID diagrams related to chiller systems and BMS for accurate system documentation
• Write, debug, and test program/ application to control and integrate with existing BMS systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather and clarify BMS requirements and specifications
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manuals for BMS systems, including code, logic diagrams, and system configurations
• Manage and develop project application, engineering, and installation professionals to enhance team performance
• Implement programs to ensure efficient and smooth departmental operations
• Evaluate departmental performance and apply corrective actions to improve results
• Apply knowledge of Honeywell or Siemens BMS systems (Comfort Point Open CPO and Enterprise Building Integrator EBI OR DesigoCC) to optimize system functionality
• Utilize understanding of Niagara 4 system and cloud computing to support BMS solutions

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing service operations and/or engineering projects in the building environment sector
• Ability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as needed
• Willingness and ability to travel at short notice and manage a 24/7 on-call schedule
• Recognized degree in Electronic & Electrical, Computer Science, or relevant Engineering discipline from a reputable university
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by effective team building, analytical problem-solving, resourcefulness, time management, customer focus, and planning expertise
• Experience in controls/ PLC programming
• Strong knowledge in ACMV systems

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of own car for work-related travel is preferred
