Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking an Automation Control Engineer to design, program, and commission advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) and industrial automation solutions. You will work on DDC/PLC programming, control logic, and system integration for large-scale projects.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, perform site commissioning, and deliver documented control strategies and reports while ensuring safety and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering.
• 2–5 years in automation or building management systems.
• Hands-on DDC/PLC programming and control logic development.
• Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LonWorks, Profibus/Profinet).
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for BMS, HVAC, and industrial applications.
• Develop and modify DDC and PLC programs, control sequences, and automation logic.
• Configure, commission, and troubleshoot PLC, DDC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Perform system integration with HVAC equipment, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and other building services.
• Conduct site commissioning, functional testing, and system validation.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop customized control strategies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and control system issues.
• Prepare engineering documentation, I/O lists, control narratives, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, and industrial applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in automation or building management systems.
• Hands‑on experience in DDC/PLC programming and control logic development.
• Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical control panels, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LonWorks, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or similar.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
