Job summary

Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to curate and conduct programs for seniors, engaging them in physical activities and community outreach. Responsibilities include instructing mobility and strength exercises, managing program attendance, and assisting in administrative tasks to support the centre's objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in G-suite. Experience in community care or senior engagement is a plus.

Programming

Curate, conduct, evaluate and review appropriate programmes and activities.

Lead and conduct Physical Activities in the following:

• Instruct members in the performance of motion exercises, mobility training and strength conditioning exercises
• Perform pre/post program functionality assessment
• Ensure the safety of the participants
• Conduct attendance recording and registration of existing and new seniors
• Taking of vital signs of seniors
• Produce program materials
• Identify and approach seniors to participate in activities at the centre

Community Care

• Interacting with and engaging seniors to develop a supportive relationship with the seniors
• Assist the Centre Lead to plan, conduct, evaluate and review Community Outreach to seniors
• Conduct case work management and to apply for relevant social grants/schemes

Administration

• Assist Centre Lead/Manager in the preparation of budgets, monitoring of Centre KPIs/OKRs ,preparation of grant submission to sponsors, manage and support volunteers

Requirements
