Job summary

  • Prepare materials and venue set-up for programmes.
  • Monitor clients and provide assistance during activities.
  • Maintain attendance records and programme documentation.
  • Liaise with volunteers and community partners.
  • Support the collection of feedback and evaluation of programmes.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Accompany clients during outings and external activities.

Job description

Job Responsibilities - (Senior Care Centre)
  1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of daily programmes and activities for seniors.
  2. Facilitate group activities, recreational programmes, exercises, games, and social engagement sessions for clients.
  3. Support the organisation of festive celebrations, community events, outings, and special projects where necessary.
  4. Prepare activity materials, equipment, and venue set-up before programmes and events.
  5. Monitor clients during activities and provide assistance where required.
  6. Maintain attendance records and programme documentation where necessary.
  7. Liaise with volunteers, vendors, and community partners for programme-related matters where required.
  8. Support the collection of feedback and evaluation of programmes.
  9. Ensure a safe, clean, and conducive environment for clients.
  10. Accompany clients during outings and external activities when required.
  11. Perform any other duties assigned by the Centre Manager.
Job Requirements
  1. Minimum NITEC, GCE 'N' Level, GCE 'O' Level, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Able to interact effectively with seniors from diverse backgrounds.

  8. Prior experience in eldercare, healthcare, social services, community care, or event coordination will be an advantage.

  10. Physically fit to support activities and accompany seniors during outings when required.
