Job summary

Select Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Commis Cook to assist in food preparation and maintain kitchen standards. You will follow established programs, portion ingredients, and ensure hygienic work environments in a fast-paced team setting.

The role requires basic food hygiene and positive attitude; entry-level candidates are welcome. 5-day work week with split shifts, including weekends, from 10:30am–2:30pm and 5:30pm–10:30pm.

Job Description

Commis Cook is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all
applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards. He/she needs to follow established food production
programs and procedures. This includes appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste
and fraud.

Kitchen duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food.
Wash, cut, and prepare the ingredients designated for cooking
Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen, the equipment, work stations and environment.
