Job summary

NCS is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to monitor MSDC system health across 120 servers using Tenable SC, and to support the upcoming tech refresh. The role includes 1st level troubleshooting for server/VM issues and escalation of hardware or software faults to contractors.

You will maintain compliance on managed systems, provision VM resources for multi-tenant environments, apply patches, and manage services such as AD, SQL Server, Veeam Backup, Configuration Manager, and SEPM.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT/EE or related discipline required.
• Minimum 2 years of IT industry experience.
• Experience administering RHEL and Windows Server; Windows OS image provisioning.
• Experience with Nutanix platform and Ansible.
• Professional level cloud and/or HCI certification (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, Nutanix or VMware) or equivalent.
• Singaporean nationality required due to project scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MSDC system health for 120 servers using Tenable SC.
• Facilitate upcoming tech refresh for mainstream systems.
• Perform 1st level troubleshooting for server or VM issues.
• Escalate faults to contractors for hardware or software issues.
• Maintain compliance to managed systems.
• Provision VM resources for multi-tenant environments.
• Perform regular patching of managed systems.
• Manage AD, SQL Server, Veeam Backup, Configuration Manager, and SEPM services.
