Job summary

ITCAN Pte Limited is seeking a capable System Engineer to provide level 1/2 support for government agency servers. You will monitor incidents, process service requests, perform patches, and ensure daily health checks.

The role requires Windows expertise, including Active Directory, and willingness to go onsite for standby support. Analyze issues, document resolutions, and collaborate with the asset and ITSM teams. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows OS knowledge with Active Directory experience.
• Experience in level 1/2 system support for government environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM incident management and service requests.

Responsibilities

• Incident management: monitor, assign, troubleshoot, and close incidents.
• Service request fulfilment: manage SRs, configure new systems, and harden OS/apps.
• Monthly patching: patch systems and test post-patch.
• 24x7 standby support and onsite work as required.
• Daily health checks and vendor escort as needed.
• Perform other duties typical of a systems engineer role.
