Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to monitor the MSDC systems and assist with a planned tech refresh. This role spans server/VM troubleshooting, patch management, and routine operations.

You will perform 1st level troubleshooting, escalate hardware or software faults, and maintain compliance across managed systems, while provisioning VM resources to multi-tenants and managing key services like AD, SQL DB, Veeam Backup, Configuration Manager, and SEPM.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology / Electrical & Electronics or related.
• At least 2 years of IT industry experience.
• Experience in RHEL, Windows Server administration, and Windows client provisioning.
• Experience in Nutanix Prism/Files/Move and Ansible.
• Cloud and/or Hyper-Converged infra certification from AWS, MS, Google, Oracle, Nutanix or VMware at Professional level or above.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MSDC system health status of 120 servers using Tenable SC.
• Facilitate the upcoming tech refresh for mainstream system.
• Perform 1st level troubleshooting for server or VM issues.

• Experience in RHEL, Windows Server administration, Windows client e.g. Win OS image provisioning
• Experience in Nutanix platform such as Prism central, Nutanix Files, Nutanix Move etc and Ansible
• Possess at least one Cloud and/or Hyper-Converged Infra certification from AWS, MS, Google, Oracle, Nutanix or VMware of Professional level and above or equivalent
• Only Singaporeans will be considered for this opportunity due to the nature of the project
