Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to monitor and maintain 120 servers, perform first-line troubleshooting, and coordinate with contractors for hardware and software issues. The role includes patch management and provisioning to multi-tenant environments, with hands-on Nutanix and cloud tooling experience.

You'll work with AD, SQL DB, Veeam, SCCM, and SEPM, ensuring compliance and smooth operations across the MSDC stack in a dynamic APAC setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in IT/EE engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of IT industry experience.
• Experience with RHEL and Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on with Nutanix platform and Ansible tooling.
• Professional level cloud/infra certification from major vendors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MSDC system health across 120 servers using Tenable SC.
• Facilitate tech refresh for mainstream systems.
• Perform 1st level troubleshooting for server/VM issues.
• Escalate faults to contractors for hardware/software failures.
• Maintain compliance for managed systems.
• Provision VM resources to multi-tenant environments.
• Regularly patch managed systems.
• Manage AD, SQL DB, Veeam Backup, SCCM, SEPM and other services.

Job Description

• Monitor MSDC system health status of 120 servers using Tenable SC
• Facilitate the upcoming tech refresh for mainstream system
• Perform 1st level troubleshooting for server or VM issues
• Escalate fault to contractors for hardware fault / software errors
• Maintain compliance to managed systems
• Perform VM or project resource provisioning to multi-tenants
• Perform regular patching to managed systems
• Manage common services such as AD, SQL DB, Veeam Backup, Microsoft Configuration Manager, SEPM

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines
• At least 2 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry
• Experience in RHEL, Windows Server administration, Windows client e.g. Win OS image provisioning
• Experience in Nutanix platform such as Prism central, Nutanix Files, Nutanix Move etc and Ansible
• Possess at least one Cloud and/or Hyper-Converged Infra certification from AWS, MS, Google, Oracle, Nutanix or VMware of Professional level and above or equivalent
