Job summary

NHG Health seeks a senior clinical risk professional to lead risk management programmes across the organisation. You will own key risk domains, drive improvements, and build capability among clinicians and staff, ensuring consistent safety standards and governance adherence.

You will maintain risk registries, develop analytics-driven reporting, and present insights to governance committees. The role also focuses on training, horizon scanning, and advancing a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• University degree from a recognised university.
• 3–4 years of experience in patient safety or risk management.
• Experience with data visualisation tools; Tableau is a bonus.
• Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills; meticulous and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical risk management strategies aligned with organisational goals and governance.
• Maintain risk registry and drive data visualisation initiatives.
• Prepare risk analysis reports for governance committees and facilitate discussions.
• Lead patient safety adverse event and near-miss management and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and coordinate patient safety initiatives and safety culture.
• Design and deliver training programmes for clinical leaders and staff.
• Identify emerging global risks through horizon scanning.
