Job description

The Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical assessment and psychological interventions to improve the mental health of children and adolescents in schools. They will formulate and develop care management plans for referred students in collaboration with community partners and also support Allied Educators in schools to manage students with mental health conditions. The role involves developing a mental health network for children and adolescents in the community.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Educational Psychology from a recognised university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work independently in a multidisciplinary team, as well as with professionals from other organisations
  • Proficiency in communication skills (spoken and written); proficiency in a second language (spoken) is preferred
  • Well-developed clinical assessment and formulation skills
  • Experience in conducting cognitive and academic assessments (preferred)
  • Eligible for valid registration, licence or practising certificate with an established or recognised psychological professional body such as SRP, APA, APS or BPS
