Job summary

A leading medical clinic in Singapore seeks a Patient Care Assistant to register patients, manage medications, and assist with clinical procedures. Ideal candidates will have at least a GCE 'O' Level or relevant qualifications and demonstrate empathy as well as professionalism in patient care. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and clinic management systems is preferred. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary package.

Overview

  • Position Title: Patient Care Assistant
  • Working Location: Sengkang West Avenue
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + OT Pay + Medical Benefits
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and manage dispensing of medications, including stock checks.
  • Prepare for blood tests, complete required forms, and process X-ray request forms.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the clinic and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Handle GP insurance and CHAS claims.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient queries via WhatsApp.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments.
  • Assist the doctor with procedures, wound dressing, and other treatments.
  • Perform autoclaving for instruments.
  • Prepare and pack medications for dispensing.
  • Provide administrative support and assist with any other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or relevant certificate in healthcare support or administration.
  • Able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle patients with empathy and professionalism.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and clinic management systems preferred.
  • Some relevant experience would be advantageous.
