Job summary

Continuum Health Pte. Ltd. is hiring Clinic Assistants to run the front and back of house in a 24-hour clinic. You will register patients, manage flow, assist chairside, handle dispensing, billing, claims, and maintain accurate records across shifts.

The role demands solid clinic experience, SOP adherence, and strong organisation. Plato system proficiency is an advantage, with emphasis on patient communication and careful handling of medications and labelling.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients into Plato accurately.
• Verify TPA eligibility before the consult.
• Submit TPA, CHAS and MediSave claims correctly and on time.
• Fill in referral and order forms correctly.
• Prepare blood tubes and label them correctly.
• Inform labs for pick-up.
• Dispense accurately per doctor's order with proper labelling and instructions.
• Assist chairside during procedures and prep the treatment room.
• Handle patient records per PDPA and ensure secure filing.
• Oversee clinic stock, cleanliness and equipment upkeep.

About the role

Clinic Assistants run the front and back of house at Continuum - patient registration and flow, chairside assisting, dispensing, billing and claims, and records. As a 24-hour clinic, the role carries responsibility for keeping the clinic running and properly handed over between shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Registering patients into Plato accurately
• Verifying TPA eligibility before the consult
• Submitting TPA, CHAS and MediSave claims correctly and on time
• Filling in referral and order forms correctly
• Preparing blood tubes correctly and labelling them against the right patient
• Ensuring labs are informed for pick-up
• Dispensing accurately against the doctor's order, with correct labelling and patient instructions
• Assisting chairside during procedures and preparing the treatment room before and after
• Handling patient records in line with PDPA - correct filing, controlled access, no loose documents left out
• Shared responsibility over clinic stock, cleanliness and equipment upkeep

About you

• About 2 years in a clinic setting
• Nursing background preferred but not required
• Plato system experience is an advantage
• Plato proficiency: Able to use Plato competently and understands the clinic's SOPs well enough to work without being walked through them
• Strong organisational skills: Manages multiple tasks at once, keeps the clinic orderly, and ensures nothing is dropped between tasks or between shifts
• Effective communication: Communicates clearly with patients, doctors and colleagues, including handover to the incoming shift
• Problem-solving: Addresses issues quickly per SOP and escalates to the supervisor when the SOP does not cover it
• Composure under pressure: Stays calm and maintains standards during surges, difficult patients, and long stretches on shift
• Attention to detail: Tracks medication and consumable usage, handles expiry checks, and follows SOPs for reordering
