Job summary

Beacon Health Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant to support the daily operations of our general practice clinic in Bukit Timah. You will welcome patients, manage check-ins, schedule appointments, handle billing and insurance claims, and help maintain tidy examination rooms and accurate patient records.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in a healthcare or customer service setting, preferably in a clinic or hospital environment.
• Phlebo certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems.
• Genuine interest in healthcare and patient wellbeing.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
• Scheduling and managing appointments to optimise the clinic's workflow.
• Handling claims including TPA, CHAS, third party insurance, etc.
• Managing clinic budgets, billing processes.
• Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are well-stocked and sanitised.
• Assisting doctor with various clinical tasks as needed.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Handling telephone inquiries and addressing patient queries in a professional manner.
• Performing general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the clinic.
