Job summary

Beacon Health Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Clinic Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a general practice clinic. The role emphasizes welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, assisting clinicians, and handling administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You will use medical software, manage patient records, and process claims while upholding high standards of cleanliness and privacy. Evening and Saturday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in a healthcare or customer service setting, preferably in a clinic or hospital environment.
• Preferably with phlebo certificate.
• Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems.
• A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a desire to contribute to patient wellbeing.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and saturday, as required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and checking in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.

• Handling claims including TPA,CHAS, third party insurance, etc.
• Managing clinic budgets, billing processes.
• Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are well-stocked and sanitised.
• Assisting doctor with various clinical tasks as needed.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Handling telephone inquiries and addressing patient queries in a professional manner.
• Performing general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the clinic.
