Job summary

Medinex Limited is seeking a service-oriented nurse or medical assistant to provide quality patient experiences in our healthcare clinic in Singapore. The role covers front desk duties, patient education, medication prep, assisting doctors, nursing care, and clinic admin.

Candidate should have a nursing-related diploma, at least 2 years' experience, be fluent in English and Mandarin, and comfortable with weekends in a 5.5-day schedule. Clinic software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing/healthcare certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• Familiar with clinic management software (Clinic Assist, Plato Medical).
• Proficient in office software and basic medical equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Able to work 5.5 days incl. weekends.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle enquiries; schedule appointments.
• Prepare drugs and dispense medicines.
• Educate patients on medications and procedures.
• Assist doctor during consultations and minor procedures.
• Provide nursing care to patients.
• Handle billing, payments, insurance submissions and documentation.
• Manage clinic inventory and restock medicines.
• Attend to other duties as assigned by Doctor.

• Perform frontline service such as registration of patients, handle patients’ enquiries, attend to phone enquiries and scheduling of patients’ appointments.
• Preparation of drugs and dispensing of medicines
• Educate patients on the medication and procedures
• Assist doctor during patient consultations and minor procedures
• Provide nursing care to patients
• Perform administrative duties such as handle billing transactions, payment, insurance claim submissions and ensure proper documentation and filing.
• Manage clinic inventory and replenish of medicines and consumable items.
• Attend to other duties as assigned by the Doctor.

Requirements

• Nitec/Diploma in Nursing or relevant healthcare certification (Nurse/ Medical Support & Assistant) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Familiar with clinic management software such as Clinic Assist, Plato Medical
• Proficiency in office software and basic medical equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking patients)
• Smart, proactive and willing to learn new skills.
• Able to commit to clinic working hours, including weekends (5.5 days work week).
