Job summary

BETHESDA MEDICAL PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Clinic Assistant to support daily clinic operations and patient care in a central Singapore location.

You will handle appointments, registration, billing, and follow-ups, while assisting with basic clinical tasks and health screening packages. Prior experience with insurance claims and phlebotomy is a plus, and a 5.5-day work week is requested.

Responsibilities

• Taking appointments, registration, billing, and collection of payment for services rendered, arranging follow-up/referral appointments.
• Performing clinical parameters: temperature, BP, height/weight, resting ECG, urea breath tests, dispensing medications, liaising with laboratory for specimen collection or ordering consumables.
• Perform Nasopharyngeal swab for patients as required.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy (blood taking) is a plus.
• Explain and introduce health screening packages to patients and tailor screening programs.
• Collate and compile results, arrange follow-up reviews and appointments.
• Assist in processing insurance claims (TPA/Medisave/Chas).
• Clinic housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and mopping high-touch surfaces.

• Performing health care assistant duties and procedures such as taking appointments, registration, billing, and collection of payment for services rendered, arrange follow-up/referral appointments.
• Performing clinical parameters such as temperature, BP taking, height & weight taking, resting ECG, Urea breath tests, medication dispensing, liaising, and handling with laboratory for specimen collection or/and ordering of laboratory consumables when required.
• Perform Nasopharyngeal swab for patients whenever required.
• Would be good if able to perform Phlebotomy (Blood taking) for patients.
• Explaining and introducing health screening packages to patients / corporate clients and tailoring appropriate screening programs to individuals and companies based on clinical indications, patients’ expectations, and cost.
• Collating and compiling results, arranging follow-up reviews and appointments for patients where appropriate.
• Assist in doing claims for insurance (TPA) / Medisave and Chas.
• Participate in clinic housekeeping, including vacuum and mopping floor, wipe down all high touch surface
