Job summary

MSCI is seeking an Implementation Manager in Singapore to drive client onboarding projects from initiation through transition to operational service. You will present Implementation Services during pre-sales and contract negotiations, advising on best practices to maximize success.

You will prepare clear project plans, define solutions, and coordinate internal and external teams to meet milestones, while managing client communications and risks throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
• Good understanding of financial products: equities, fixed income, derivatives, and risk management.
• Knowledge of portfolio management theory and risk management techniques.
• Experience with information technologies including portfolio or risk management systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Client-facing experience in the financial services industry.
• Self-reliant, detail-oriented and a fast learner; strong teamwork.
• Project management certification with Agile techniques (e.g., Agile Certification, PMP).

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for managing client implementation projects from initiation to seamless transition into operational service.
• Lead the presentation of Implementation Services during pre-sales and contract negotiations with clients and advise on best practices.
• Prepare detailed project plans and solution definitions covering all deliverables.
• Organize resources, establish milestones and timeframes, and coordinate internal and external efforts to meet planned tasks and resolve issues.
