Job summary

Daewoo Yongnam Joint Venture is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to handle technical and engineering problems on-site at Jurong East. The role requires ensuring smooth implementation, monitoring of progress and productivity on civil projects including roads and bridges.

The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in Civil projects (infrastructure/ road/ bridge) is required for this position.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and deliver assignments on time
• Well experienced in Bridge construction
• Must be able to do Method Preparation for all type of Bridge Projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with excellent communication, coordination and personal interaction skills

Responsibilities

• Gather, check site data, recording and monitoring of site work progress/ productivity
• Propose alternative work method or other ways to increase productivity
• Ensure all workers at site comply with quality, environment, health & safety requirements
• Ensure all relevant permits are applied before work commence
• Settle disputes & address clarifications on site
• Any other duties that may be assigned.
