Job summary

SWEE BUILDERS PTE LTD is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to supervise design and construction of roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure. You will review specs, provide solutions, and ensure adherence to standards, while coordinating with contractors and authorities.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 3 years in civil works, with proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office. Strong leadership and independent working capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (PE Board recognised) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil, structural, and infrastructure works.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects (roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure).
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Provide engineering solutions and resolve technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring cost, quality, safety, and schedule targets are met.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government authorities (e.g., LTA, PUB) to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce safe work practices.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and updates for management and stakeholders.
• Support tender preparation and participate in project meetings.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
