Job summary

JOBALLY PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Project Engineer to support planning and day-to-day execution of civil engineering projects in Singapore. You will assist the Project Manager, coordinate subcontractors and site workers, and help ensure progress aligns with the master programme and budget.

The position requires a Civil Engineering degree. Experience is welcome but not mandatory, with seniority based on relevant experience and suitability. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience not required; construction experience is an advantage.
• Seniority commensurate with candidate’s experience.
• Proactive and resourceful with good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning and execution, and monitor works against the master programme.
• Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, supervisors and site workers to support smooth progress.
• Plan manpower deployment according to the project’s budgeted man-hours.
• Track daily site progress and provide timely updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure activities comply with Singapore legal and regulatory requirements.
• Follow procedures to meet specifications, quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Carry out other project-related duties as assigned.

Project Engineer

Support the planning and day-to-day execution of construction projects, ensuring work progresses in line with programme, manpower, quality and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in project planning and execution, and monitor works against the master programme.
• Coordinate daily activities involving subcontractors, supervisors and site workers to support smooth project progress.
• Plan manpower deployment in accordance with the budgeted man-hours provided for the project.
• Track daily site progress and provide timely progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable Singapore legal and regulatory requirements.
• Follow established procedures and ensure work is carried out in accordance with specifications, quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Carry out other project-related duties assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply; relevant construction experience will be an advantage.
• The final appointment and seniority level will be commensurate with the candidate’s relevant experience and overall suitability.
• Proactive and resourceful, with good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels.
