Job summary

PeopleSearch Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Site/Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and on-site execution for a landmark MRT project. You will attend site meetings, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.

The successful candidate will have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and at least 3 years of site experience; those with more experience may be considered for a Senior role.

Qualifications

• Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as site/project engineer.
• Candidate with more experience can be considered for the Senior position.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing on-site project activities.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitoring sessions, providing updates on work progress.
• Work closely with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to technical drawings and specifications.
• Oversee daily construction operations and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment allocation, to maintain efficient workflow.
• Assist in tracking project budgets and monitoring cost-related matters.
• Help resolve site issues or delays by proposing practical corrective actions.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure productivity, workmanship quality, and compliance with project requirements.
