Job summary

Flintex Consulting seeks a Civil Engineer for Singapore to oversee site works and coordinate across disciplines. You will review project drawings, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and safety compliance on site.

The ideal candidate has a degree in civil engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, authority requirements, technical submissions, and construction drawings.
• Assist the Project / Construction Manager in day-to-day supervision of site works, ensuring works follow approved drawings and specs.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to achieve quality and timely project completion.
• Plan, monitor, and update construction schedules, material procurement, and site activities to meet milestones.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover docs.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities on design, construction and quality matters.
• Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, M&E, and BIM teams to resolve technical/coordination issues.
• Perform QA/QC duties ensuring compliance with project specs and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and MOM requirements on site, including safety inspections.
• Support cost control, variation works, and contract administration as required.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
