Job summary

THAI VILLAGE RESTAURANT Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Chinese Chef to lead premium Chinese cuisine in a fine‑dining setting. You will plan, prepare and refine dishes, ensuring exceptional taste, texture and presentation.

The role requires 5–8 years of proven experience in premium Chinese cuisine, deep knowledge of traditional and contemporary techniques, and the ability to work under pressure in a luxury dining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience as a Chinese Chef in premium/ luxury dining environments.
• Proven experience in premium and high-end Chinese cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques.

• Maintain proper food storage, temperature control and handling procedures.
• Contribute ideas for premium dishes, set menus, festive promotions and special dining experiences that support restaurant sales.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant experience as a Chinese Chef, preferably in a premium Chinese restaurant, luxury hotel or fine-dining establishment.
• Proven experience in premium and high-end Chinese cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques.
• Experience working with premium ingredients and high-value seafood, meat and dried seafood products.
• Excellent presentation, plating and portion-control skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
