Protec Systems Pte Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead the chiller workshop, ensuring safe, efficient repairs and adherence to quality standards. You will supervise technicians and engineers, provide technical leadership, and engage with customers on technical discussions for practical repair solutions.

The role emphasizes ownership, safety, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver timely, high-quality repair outcomes in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering, equipment servicing, maintenance or repair operations.
• Minimum 2 years in leading or supervising technical teams.
• Experience in industrial equipment servicing, rotating equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, pumps or compressors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the chiller workshop to meet targets and quality standards.
• Coach and develop technicians and engineers; promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Plan manpower and workshop resources to optimize productivity.
• Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting, repair evaluation and root cause analysis.
• Review inspection findings and approve spare parts requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective planning and execution of repairs.
