Job summary

ACHI BIZ SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a dynamic Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee the Indian restaurant business in Singapore.

The role requires a strong commercial mindset, deep F&B knowledge, and proven ability to drive growth, profitability and governance across operations, finance and people. The MD will set long-term strategies, oversee KPIs, manage senior teams and build partnerships with suppliers, landlords and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in business/related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience; at least 2 years in senior/executive leadership in F&B/hospitality
• Proven strategic business management and financial planning experience
• Experience in Indian restaurant or Indian cuisine-related business is a plus
• Strong financial management, budgeting, cost control and forecasting skills
• Ability to develop and execute growth strategies and improve performance
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
• Good knowledge of Singapore business, employment, food safety and F&B regulations
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and communicate with the Board
• Willingness to work flexible hours; English communication required; foreign language skills advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction aligned with corporate objectives
• Develop and review short- and long-term business strategies and expansion plans
• Oversee restaurant operations, finance, HR, procurement, and marketing
• Establish KPIs, budgets and financial targets; monitor performance
• Lead senior management and departmental heads to execute strategies
• Manage revenue generation, profitability, cash flow, costs and capex
• Review financial statements and forecasts to support decisions
• Formulate business development strategies to grow market presence
• Evaluate expansion opportunities including new outlets and partnerships
• Oversee menu development, pricing, quality and customer service standards
• Maintain governance, internal controls and SOPs
• Ensure compliance with Singapore laws and regulations
• Oversee manpower planning and staff development
• Build relations with suppliers, landlords, financiers, and partners
• Lead negotiations on supplier contracts and partnerships
• Direct marketing, branding and customer engagement strategies
• Identify and mitigate business risks; promote accountability and integrity
• Represent the company in meetings and negotiations; report to Board
