Job summary

JGC Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an senior architectural engineer to lead design development from concept to handover across FEED, Basic, Detailed, and EPC phases.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory and QA/QC standards in international environments. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with cleanrooms, labs, pharmaceutical facilities, data centers, or other mission-critical facilities, and a proven track record as a Work

Qualifications

• 15+ years of architectural engineering experience in FEED, Basic Design, Detailed Design, and EPC project execution.
• Ability to coordinate architectural activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience as Work Package Owner (WPO) or equivalent, responsible for design progress, deliverable management, interdisciplinary coordination, QA/QC reviews, and handover documentation.
• Experience in architectural design for cleanrooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor facilities, manufacturing plants, data centers, or other mission-critical industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development from conceptual through detailed design, implementation, commissioning and final handover.
• Ensure all architectural designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and authority approval requirements.
• Integrate sustainability objectives and energy-efficient solutions into project deliverables.
• Prepare and review tender documentation, including technical specifications, scope of work documents, and schedules of rates.
• Act as Work Package Owner (WPO) for assigned architectural packages, ensuring timely delivery and QA/QC compliance.
• Manage and progress architectural design activities in accordance with project checklists, quality standards, schedule, and client requirements.

• Integrate sustainability objectives, energy-efficient solutions, and environmental design considerations into project deliverables
• Prepare and review tender documentation, including technical specifications, scope of work documents, contract schedules, summaries of tender, and schedules of rates.
• Act as Work Package Owner (WPO) for assigned architectural packages, ensuring timely delivery, multidisciplinary coordination, quality compliance, completion of QA/QC requirements, and preparation of final handover documentation.
• Manage and progress architectural design activities in accordance with the project Design Checklist, quality standards, project schedule, and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15+ years of architectural engineering experience in FEED, Basic Design, Detailed Design, and EPC project execution, for pharmaceutical, life sciences, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing, or data center projects in international environments
• Ability to coordinate architectural activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience acting as Work Package Owner (WPO) or equivalent, responsible for design progress, deliverable management, interdisciplinary coordination, QA/QC reviews, and handover documentation.
• Experience in architectural design for cleanrooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, semiconductor facilities, manufacturing plants, data centers, or other mission-critical industrial buildings.
