Job summary

FK HUMAN RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy Chinese noodle shop in Bishan, Singapore. You will assist the chef with daily kitchen operations, prep ingredients and help with cooking under supervision.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine or Chinese F&B, be able to work in a fast-paced team, maintain hygiene, and follow safety standards. Working hours are 7:00am–7:00pm; Sundays off, with a 2:00pm–4:00pm break.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Chinese cuisine or Chinese F&B operations.
• Experience in a Chinese restaurant or noodle shop is preferred.
• Good understanding of food preparation and basic cooking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Support the chef in preparing and cooking Chinese-style dishes and noodles.
• Prepare, wash, cut and portion ingredients according to requirements.
• Assist with daily cooking, ingredient preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Ensure ingredients and food are stored properly and maintained with hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work area.

Requirements

• Experience working in a Chinese restaurant or noodle shop is preferred.
• Good understanding of food preparation and basic cooking procedures.
• Able to assist the chef and work effectively as part of a kitchen team.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good hygiene and food safety awareness.

• Working Hours: Monday-Saturday, 7:00am-7:00pm
• Break: 2:00pm-4:00pm
• Rest Days: 4 days per month, every Sunday off
