Job summary

Royal Ocean Marine Enterprise Pte Ltd seeks experienced Chartering Managers for Dry Bulk and Tankers with regional and international exposure. The role focuses on daily chartering, COAs, and vessel employment strategies to maximize commercial returns.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years in chartering, a proven track record in fixing and negotiations, and a strong maritime network. Singapore residency is preferred for the Singapore position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead daily chartering and vessel fixing activities.

• Negotiate charter parties and optimize commercial returns.
• Build and maintain relationships with charterers, traders, brokers, cargo interests and shipowners.
• Monitor market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.

Hiring: Chartering Managers | Dry Bulk & Tankers

We are currently working with several international shipping clients who are expanding their commercial teams and seeking experienced Chartering Managers for the following locations:

India – Chartering Manager (Dry Bulk) / Open to senior Chartering manager that is open to work remotely

Singapore – Chartering Manager (Tankers)- only open for Singaporean / Singapore Resident

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily chartering and vessel fixing activities.

Ideal Profile

• 3 to 10 years of relevant chartering experience within the Dry Bulk or Tanker markets.
• Proven track record in vessel fixing, freight negotiations, and commercial shipping operations.
• Strong network within the maritime and commodity trading sectors.
• Commercially driven with excellent relationship management and business development capabilities.
• Degree or Diploma in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Commercial Marine, or a related discipline preferred.
