About HitPay
HitPay is the all-in-one payments and financial operations platform for SMEs — payments, payouts, invoicing, POS, and more in one place. We've served 15,000+ SMEs, saved merchants US$35M+ in fees, hold a Trustpilot 4.4/5, and were named among the world's and Singapore's leading fintech companies (CNBC / Tech in Asia × Statista, 2026). We're a fast-moving, AI-native team that ships fast and carries almost no bureaucracy.
The role
You’ll own HitPay's channel partnerships motion — growth through other people's networks, not one merchant at a time.
This is a partnerships lead role focused on channel: referral partners, affiliates, resellers, and ecosystem distributors who consistently send qualified SMEs into HitPay. You build the partner program, recruit and activate partners, design incentives that work, and turn partner-sourced pipeline into predictable revenue.
Primary channels you'll own
- Referral & affiliate partners — agencies, web/e-commerce dev shops, consultants, accountants/bookkeepers, Shopify/WooCommerce partners, and other advisors who refer merchants into HitPay.
- Reseller / channel distributors — POS resellers and partners who resell HitPay and earn margin.
- Program ops — enablement, attribution, incentives, partner payouts, and the playbooks that make the channel compound.
(Embedded platform / HitPay Connect deals sit adjacent — you may collaborate, but this seat is not the Connect closer. Channel + referrals is the job.)
What you'll do
Build and scale the channel
- Define the channel strategy: which partner types, which markets (SG / MY / PH / HK / AU / US), and what "good" looks like for partner-sourced TPV, revenue, and activation.
- Recruit, onboard, and activate high-fit partners; keep a living pipeline of prospects and a clear tiering model (self-serve - high-touch).
- Design and iterate incentives (referral fees, recurring share, reseller margin) so partners stay motivated and unit economics stay healthy.
Run the program end-to-end
- Own HitPay's Refer & Earn / affiliate program: enablement kits, tracking & attribution, partner portals/comms, and timely partner payouts.
- Stand up reseller motions where partners want to sell HitPay (pricing guidance, deal desk hygiene, handoff to Sales).
- Enable partners so they can pitch HitPay without you in every room — demos, one-pagers, objection handling, co-sell playbooks.
Drive pipeline and revenue
- Own partner-sourced leads, pipeline, win rate, and revenue forecasts; make the channel a visible, trusted contribution to GTM.
- Work tightly with Sales so referred leads are qualified, worked, and attributed correctly — no black holes.
- Partner with Marketing on co-marketing, partner webinars, and campaigns that feed the channel.
Operate with discipline
- Keep HubSpot (or our CRM) tight: partner records, sourced opportunities, stages, and reporting leadership can trust.
- Negotiate and close partner agreements with Legal/Finance; keep commercial terms clean and compliant.
- Feed partner and market signal back to Product and GTM so we ship what channels actually need.
What we're looking for
- 5–8 years in channel partnerships, partner/channel sales, affiliate/referral programs, or BD — ideally payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record building or scaling a partner/referral channel that produced measurable pipeline and revenue (not just managing a static list).
- Strong commercial judgment: incentive design, revenue share, CPA vs recurring economics, and when to say no to a bad partner.
- Comfortable recruiting partners outbound and running a many-partner program without drowning in ops.
- Disciplined CRM and forecasting habits; you report numbers you can defend.
- Excellent written and spoken English; can work across APAC markets and time zones.
- Self-directed and fast — thrives with autonomy and minimal process.
Bonus points
- Existing network of agencies, e-commerce partners, accountants, or POS/reseller channels in APAC.
- Experience running referral/affiliate tooling (PartnerStack, Impact, FirstPromoter, Rewardful, or in-house equivalents).
- Prior payments/fintech channel experience (acquirer, payfac, POS, or SaaS billing).
- You've launched a partner program from near-zero and made it a real GTM line.
