Job summary

NOVA-TECH MFG PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage POs, control inventory, and sustain strong supplier relationships. You will negotiate terms and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Diploma in relevant field and at least 2 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing setting, with preference for semiconductor or electronics equipment sectors.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment with preference for Semiconductor, Precision Machining, or Electronics equipment industries.
• Strong understanding of raw material sourcing, CNC/precision machining, and manufacturing supply chains.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Management: prepare, process, and track POs to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Inventory Management: monitor levels, forecast demand, and reorder to prevent shortages.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build and maintain strong supplier relationships and address issues.
• Negotiation: negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure best deals while maintaining quality.
• Market Analysis: analyze trends, monitor competitors, predict demand to inform purchasing decisions.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: work with inventory, logistics, finance to ensure smooth procurement.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

• Purchase Order Management:
  Prepare, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Inventory Management:
  Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand, and reorder stock as necessary to prevent shortages.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
  Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, addressing any issues related to product quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Negotiation:
  Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best possible deals while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
• Market Analysis:
  Analyze market trends, monitor competitor strategies, and predict consumer demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Cross-Department Collaboration:
  Work with various departments (e.g., inventory, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth procurement and supply chain operations.
• Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for candidates from the Semiconductor, Precision Machining, or Electronics equipment industry.
• Solid understanding of raw material sourcing,CNC/precision machining processes,manufacturing supply chains, and specialized material handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple orders and suppliers simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and internal team collaboration.
• Ability to monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software, as well as Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing market conditions, and meet tight deadlines.
• Communication skills for internal coordination and external vendor management.
• Willing working in East Region, Changi North Crescent.
