Job summary

HR Focus is seeking a high-energy business development professional to identify, develop, and secure new opportunities across Southeast Asia in construction, data centre, heavy cargo and machinery services. You will lead projects through all phases from concept to client handover, manage schedules, and coordinate vendors to deliver cost-efficient solutions.

The role requires building strong client relationships, preparing compelling quotations, and tracking sales analytics to inform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, logistics, or related field.
• Experience selling project cargo, heavy lift, breakbulk, and multimodal transport.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel and bilingual English/Chinese as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Southeast Asia in construction, data centre, heavy cargo & machinery services.
• Lead assigned projects through all phases, from concept to client handover
• Manage project schedules, coordinate vendor activities, and develop precise cost-tracking structures
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to design efficient logistics solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and logistics partners
• Prepare competitive quotations, tenders, and logistics proposals tailored to customer requirements
• Analyse industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer behaviour to identify and capture new business opportunities
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and analytics to the management team

Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Salary

$8000 - $10,000 (Depends on experience)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in selling project cargo, breakbulk, heavy lift, oversized cargo, and multimodal transportation solutions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Bilingual in English and Chinese as need to communicate and liaise with Mandarin speaking customers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage and grow client relationships
• Will require to travel
