Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Business Development Executive in the West Region of Singapore to identify and secure new business, build a strong sales pipeline, and promote end-to-end logistics solutions including air/ocean freight, warehousing, and customs clearance. The role requires a hunter mentality, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven logistics sales track record.

Qualifications

• Minimum O Levels, Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of business development or sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics
• Proven experience acquiring new customers in a hunter sales environment
• Good understanding of air freight, ocean freight and logistics solutions
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Self-driven, resilient and target-oriented

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry
• Conduct cold calling, networking and client visits to build a strong sales pipeline
• Promote air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, customs clearance and integrated logistics solutions
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms with customers
• Develop tailored logistics solutions to support customers' supply chain requirements
• Achieve individual sales and gross profit targets
• Work closely with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery

The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with an established international freight forwarding and logistics provider to hire a Business Development Executive as part of its business expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales hunter who enjoys acquiring new customers and selling end-to-end logistics solutions across air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added logistics services.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: West Region

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

Salary Package: Basic + Transport Allowance + Uncapped Commission + Variable Bonus
