Job summary

Adecco partners with an established international freight forwarding and logistics provider to hire a Business Development Manager in Singapore's West Region. This role focuses on acquiring new customers and selling end-to-end logistics solutions across air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, customs clearance and value-added services.

You will work to meet aggressive sales targets in a hunter role, building lasting relationships with clients and promoting integrated logistics packages.

Qualifications

• Minimum O Levels, Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of business development or sales experience within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven experience acquiring new customers in a hunter sales environment.
• Good understanding of air freight, ocean freight and logistics solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven, resilient and target-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Cold calling to prospective clients who requires freight forwarding services.
• Promote service for ocean, air and total logistics services.
• Plan and propose solution to customers business objective.
• Aggressively source and secure new accounts and business.
• Achieve set sales target (Hunter role).

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales hunter who enjoys acquiring new customers and selling end-to-end logistics solutions across air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added logistics services.

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Location: West Region
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + Transport Allowance + Uncapped Commission + Variable Bonus
