MCI Career Services in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive cyber security growth across Singapore and the APAC region. You will spot opportunities, execute tasks quickly, and perform consultative sales using available technical resources.

The role welcomes fresh graduates and those with some experience, valuing a credible personality, strategic thinking, and the ability to build partnerships with customers and partners in various sectors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the business development team for growth of cyber-security businesses in Singapore and the APAC region.
• Spot opportunities and execute tasks quickly.
• Perform consultative sales independently or leveraging technical resources to develop new business.
• Be a credible, trusted partner to customers and partners.
• Identify new opportunities and growth plans.
• Experience selling IT infrastructure and security solutions across sectors (optional).

Job description

Business Development Executive (Cyber Security)

Singapore, Singapore

• Working hours: Monday - Friday (8.30am - 6pm)

Job Scope:

• The successful candidate will be contributing to the business development team for the growth of cyber-security businesses in Singapore and the APAC region.
• S/He is expected to possess a keen eye to spot opportunities and be able to execute quickly on tasks given.
• S/He should be able to do consultative sales either independently or by leveraging available and accessible technical resources to develop new businesses.
• A credible and trusted personality with whom partners and customers would relate
• A natural strategist in identifying new opportunities and realizing new growth plan
• Experience in selling IT infra-structure and security solutions into especially the Maritime, Government, Financial, Healthcare, Energy, Public and Private Sectors(Optional).

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates from the relevant disciplines (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, etc.,) (Applicants with a few years of working experience are also welcomed)
• Ability to adapt quickly and able to embrace potentially steep learning curve
• Possess an innovative and open mind-set, especially in the creation of viable partnerships and new markets with radically differentiated propositions
• A well-natured, result-oriented, self-motivating, self-driven team player
• Sensitive to numbers and good with various tools like Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and execute the tasks given efficiently.
