Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Business Development Executive to generate and qualify leads while conducting client meetings to tailor proposals. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in business development with strong presentation skills and must be proficient in both English and Chinese.

This role involves owning client relationships and identifying upselling opportunities to increase revenue. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, in Central Singapore.

• Strong presentation skills to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently on commercial proposals.

Job Description

• Generate and qualify new business leads to expand the client base
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and tailor proposals
• Prepare and present proposals to convert prospects into clients
• Own client relationships by conducting regular check-ins and business reviews to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities across services to increase revenue
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field
• At least 4-5 years of experience in business development, account management, and/or B2B sales, preferably within the professional or outsourced services industry
• Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate proposals and influence stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and confidently discuss commercial proposals
• Proficient in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) to liaise with Chinese speaking customers
• Self-discipline, sales‑oriented and time management

Compensation

• Working location: Central, Singapore
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Variable allowance
