Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for our SaaS platform and AWS cloud environment in Singapore. The role focuses on requirements gathering, process analysis, and effective stakeholder collaboration to drive technology-enabled business improvements.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, work with product, engineering, QA and cloud teams, and support SIT/UAT and release activities in an office-based setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong BA background.
Experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven projects.
Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional specs, and user stories.
Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud and SaaS environments.
Experience with APIs, system integrations, data flows and interfaces.
Experience with SIT, UAT, testing and acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
Conduct requirement workshops and interviews with business and technical teams.
Translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Define acceptance criteria and support solution validation.
Work with SaaS and AWS Cloud teams on integrations and migrations.

Business Analyst – SaaS Platform & AWS Cloud

Location: Singapore
Work Mode: Work from Office

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate should have exposure to SaaS platforms and AWS Cloud environments and be able to translate business requirements into clear technical and functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
Conduct requirement workshops, interviews, and discussions with business and technical teams.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Identify business process gaps and recommend improvements.
Define acceptance criteria and support solution validation.

SaaS & AWS Cloud

Work with teams supporting SaaS-based platforms and cloud applications.
Understand SaaS application architecture, integrations, workflows, and data flows.
Collaborate with technical teams on AWS Cloud-based solutions.
Understand AWS services, cloud integrations, APIs, security, and data flows at a functional level.
Support requirements and impact analysis for cloud migration, enhancement, and integration initiatives.

Process & Solution Analysis

Analyse current and future-state business processes.
Prepare process flows, functional specifications, use cases, and solution documentation.
Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and opportunities for process optimisation.
Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, cloud, and product teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with business users, Product Managers, developers, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, requirement discussions, demos, and solution walkthroughs.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
Manage requirement clarifications and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing & Delivery

Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production implementation activities.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria where required.
Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
Support defect analysis, prioritisation, and resolution.
Assist with release planning and post-implementation activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in technology-driven projects.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional specifications, and user stories.
Good understanding of AWS Cloud and cloud-based application environments.
Experience working with SaaS platforms / SaaS applications.
Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and application interfaces.
Experience with SIT, UAT, functional testing, and acceptance criteria.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or equivalent.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent documentation and analytical skills.

Good to Have

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, or equivalent.
Experience with SaaS product implementation or integration projects.
Experience with REST APIs and JSON/XML.
Knowledge of cloud migration or digital transformation projects.
Experience working with data analytics, reporting, or BI platforms.
Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
Experience in product-based or enterprise technology environments.
